Certain items may not be rented or hired forhire.ie for legal reasons and you should not attempt to hire or rent such items. If any items appear on the site then these items, at our discretion, may be removed from the website and the user possibly being suspended.

You should also check that your ownership of the item you intend to rent permits you to do so. Certain items, such as DVDs, CDs may contain material such as video, music, software, etc, that is protected by licence terms preventing the rental of the item.

• Any item encouraging or endorsing illegal action
• Firearms or ammunition, explosives or fireworks
• Tickets (travel or otherwise) or membership entitlements
• Identities, identification material, licences and uniforms
• Mailing lists and personal information
• Pyramid or multi-level sales or matrix trading schemes
• Material likely to offend
• Recalled or dangerous items
• Satellite, digital and cable TV decoders

Use

forhire.ie is not an intermediary in any hire agreements. forhire.ie Website is simply a place which allows registered users to interact and trade. forhire.ie does not hire or own the items listed. Registered Users own the equipment they hire to other users and the contractual hire agreement rests between them. forhire.ie does not hold any responsibility for any aspect of any hire agreement made by use of this site including but not limited to delivery, price, quality, safety, or terms.

You agree to use forhire.ie Website in good faith with the intention of lawfully entering into hire agreements.

forhire.ie does not endorse any item listed as being as described and has no control over the quality, safety or other aspect of the item. forhire.ie takes no responsibility for ensuring that any hire agreements made conclude as intended, nor for legal infringements that hire agreements may incur. You accept sole responsibility for the legality of your actions under laws applying to you. Certain items (such as CDs or DVDs containing music, games, videos, etc.) may have rental restrictions on them and you must check the legality of potential rental contracts before offering such items. You must not offer rental of, or hire, any items which we do not permit on forhire.ie Website.

Users agree to use their best endeavors to:

* Only offer items for hire that they wholly own, that they are legally entitled to hire, and that are not on the prohibited items list (see above)
* Act lawfully and responsibly towards Hirers of their items
* To ensure the safety of other members
* Not to misrepresent the availability, quality, function, or other description of items offered.

forhire.ie shall use all reasonable endeavors to act in good faith and shall not knowingly or willfully distribute false information. You are responsible for checking such information and for your actions arising from such information. You agree that charges are made for the information supplied, whatever its validity, accuracy or usefulness. forhire.ie shall not be liable for any inaccuracies, deletions, omissions, or errors in the information within forhire.ie Website. forhire.ie is not responsible for any virus transmitted by you or third parties using forhire.ie Website.

You agree not to submit any information that:

* Is untrue, misleading, or could be readily misinterpreted as such.
* Is vulgar, obscene, racially, ethnically, or religiously objectionable.
* Is abusive, threatening, or damaging to any individual, company or organisation.
* Is contaminated or contains corrupted material or intends to cause damage or corruption (such as a virus).
* Is not specifically for the purposes of entering into hire agreements with other members through the use of forhire.ie Website.
* Offers services that are illegal or may causes offence to others.

In using forhire.ie Website you agree that forhire.ie may use any information supplied for the purposes of achieving rental agreements between owners and hirers. You also agree that forhire.ie may amend, correct, adjust, translate, publish and distribute such information in whole or in part, and without consideration or compensation.

Liability

You agree that forhire.ie shall not be liable for:

* Any interruption in your business, trade or employment.
* Any non-delivery, mis-delivery, corrupt or bad delivery of any information.
* Any loss or damage of any kind (including but not limited to loss of business or profit), whether direct or consequential for whatever reason, even if forhire.ie has been informed of the likelihood of such losses or damage arising. In no event shall forhire.ie's maximum aggregate liability exceed the total paid by you or one thousand euros (€1,000) whichever is the lesser.
* Any events beyond forhire.ie's reasonable control.

Where limitation of liability is restricted by law, forhire.ie's liability, and that of its directors, is limited to the extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify forhire.ie against action arising from any third party claim, damage, or compensation. Should you have any right, claim or action against any other user arising from that user's use of the Site, you agree to pursue such right, claim or action independently of forhire.ie. You agree to release forhire.ie (and its partners, contractors, subsidiaries, directors, and employees) from all claims, liability, damages, losses, cost, including legal fees, arising from or connected with such right, claim or action.

Service Level

You agree that forhire.ie may, at its own discretion, remove your access to the forhire.ie Website without notice or without compensation.

You also agree that to the legal extent permissible forhire.ie excludes all implied warranties, terms and conditions, including without limitation any terms as to performance or quality.
